PRESS RELEASE: August 4, 2009: The Board of Directors, formerly of NECSI, has announced the formation of the NEC Dealers Association (NECDA). The newly formed organization is much more than just a name change.  NECDA has established a new set of goals and objectives which provide increased value to its members, and subsequently, to customers.

To enhance the group’s relationship with NEC, as well as create a better line of communication, the Board has invited an NEC executive sponsor to sit with the Board. Mr. Frank Viola, General Manager of NEC Unified Solutions, Inc., has accepted. Mr. Viola will collaborate with NECDA members to provide solutions and recommendations that generate new opportunities and build a stronger dealer network.

The new logo illustrates NECDA’s North American presence, covering coast to coast territories in the United States and Canada. NECDA dealers have the ability to expand their reach when dealing with multi-location customers through the extensive network of fellow members.

Education and sharing best business practices will be new priorities for NECDA.  Utilizing today’s technology through information webinars will be the communication vehicle of choice for NECDA members. On-line sessions will include solutions to today’s business challenges, selling techniques, industry updates, and much more. Regularly scheduled communications that focus on the many obstacles members face in today’s business world and creative solutions will be conveyed in the group’s quarterly newsletter, Crosstalk, as well as the recently updated website, www.necda.org.

NECDA’s future lies within the technology we deploy, as well as the members it serves; each is as important as the other. Marketing efforts will emphasize on recruiting new members and providing ongoing value to membership. NECDA’s newly designed customer brochure describes the value and benefits of purchasing technology from a NECDA member. NECDA is committed to educating members on today’s technology and superior customer service to provide the ultimate goal of customer satisfaction. Additionally, our intent is to have ongoing dialog with NEC to better align with NEC’s goals in gaining market share through a world-class dealer network.
