Hello and welcome to our 4th Quarterly Newsletter in 2010 for all of our valued members. On behalf of your NECDA Dealer Council board, we hope that the start of the fall season has brought increased sales and business to your company. We are all starting to see resurgence in activity after weathering through the latest recession. We are poised with the latest promotions and solutions to grow solidly into the next decade.

The main theme of my message to you, our valued members is...what has NECDA done for you lately?

This may seem like a strange question for you to read, but an important question for you, none the less. Your NECDA dealer council board constantly seeks different ways of bringing member issues forward and works strategically with NEC and the NEC Users Group to increase your NEC sales.

Over this past year NECDA has done the following to provide benefits for your company:

1. NECDA Webinars: Social Networking, Wireless Options, Mobile Extension setup and programming, Software Assurance Configurators, SIP Trunking and remote Teleworking via CPU NAT. Our most recent seminar featured one of NEC’s newest business Partners – AVST!

2. Surveys: NECDA has run two very successful surveys getting vital feedback from you regarding the current promotions, Free tech and sales training, and product enhancements.

3. Quarterly meetings with NECExecutive: At these meetings your feedback and concerns are brought forward for resolution (LCD Replacement and UM8000 challenges). Strategic initiatives are discussed on how NECDA can provide benefit for the NEC Associates. Ongoing programs such as the new Software Assurance Programs are critiqued and improved upon. It is also during these meetings that the results of your important survey feedback are discussed. These have allowed us to mutually develop new promotions to assist you in your NEC sales.

4. Quarterly Crosstalk Newsletter: This informative newsletter gives you insights into how other successful NEC Associates are selling the latest in UC solutions using new innovative ideas. NEC hardware product updates are also highlighted as well as other Telecom Industry related news.

Perhaps the biggest benefit we feel is about to come to you, our valued NECDA Members! Courtesy of our Web Master, Charlie Nyman, NECDA is about to post on ourwebsite for you to use...Free Video System Administrator training using Web Pro and PC Pro!! These 18 videos have been recorded on various aspects of feature training we commonly get asked for by customers. You will be able to incorporate these “You Tube videos” as you see fit to better train your customers! These videos will pay for your NECDA dues after showing your customer the very first training video, differentiating your company from all of the others.

Please let us know what other programs we could run to further provide you with better tools to promote and sell the entire Univerge 360 lineup of products, applications and solutions. We are here only to serve you. Please don’t forget that we highly encourage you to submit articles for our quarterly Crosstalk Newsletter and will pay you $300 for each article. Also, if we use your Webinar idea, we will reimburse you $500 for your work.
